    • After arrival at Rovaniemi’s own convenient airport, the children will love being greeted en route to the resort by a reindeer with its Sami handler, giving you the perfect photo opportunity to start your break in true Lapland style!

      Our comfortable coaches will whisk you off for the short 20-25 minute ride to your chosen hotel or Lapland cabin. On the way, we will call in on our Arctic clothing partner to get you fitted out with your special complimentary thermal over-suits, boots, gloves and hats, so you are ready for adventure!

      Fun-time - a chance to explore Rovaniemi and get your bearings in this popular resort, or to ,make snowmen, borrow the free toboggans from all our partner hotels, or maybe enjoy a relaxing Finnish sauna.

      For guests on our half-board option, a wonderful welcome dinner this evening sets the scene for tomorrow’s excitement

    • This extra day on the 4-day 'Wonder of Santa' break will normally be your second day, and gives you the chance to start building up the excitement with your choice of our fantastic Optional Adventures.

      Try a sensational Snowmobile Safari - one of our previous guests' big favourites - or enjoy a few hours skiing, or maybe go for an extra Husky Sled or Reindeer Sled Ride - always a popular choice with the children.

    • We will pick you up for the ultimate Christmas adventure, with all the following activities available at some point during the day, all of which are included in our prices.
    • Husky Sled Ride - these lovable dogs just love to run, and the sensation of gliding through this winter wonderland behind a team of eager huskies is a highlight of the trip for many guests. Children ride sitting with a parent, whilst grown-ups can all take a turn at actually ‘driving’ your own sled on this thrilling approx. 15-minute adventure.
    • Reindeer Sleigh Ride - here in the Joulukka Adventure Forest, the reindeer sleighs are the ideal way to move around the area, and you can hop on and off the sleighs as you go between various of the activities.
    • Exclucively for Esprit guests in Rovaniemi, Visit Santa’s ‘Christmas Control Centre’, to see how Santa keeps track of all his letters from around the world, and stays in touch with all his elves and helpers, busily getting ready for Christmas.
    • Warm up with a fun visit to the Joulukka Elf School, where children can join in a session learning all about elfin tricks. sings and traditions and decorate their own tasty gingerbread.
    • Lunch is also included of course - a simple, hot 2-course meal to ‘recharge yourbatteries’ with plenty of hot berry juice, squash, tea and coffee available too.
    • The highlight of the day is setting off by snowmobile-sled on your family’s own Search for Santa! Tucked away in the woods you will find his little log-cabin home, and meet Santa Claus himself in an exclusive, private family meeting,, with his helpers on hand to ensure there is magic in the air!
    • A super range of other snow fun activities is available for you all to enjoy, including tobogganing, kick-sledding (a Lapland speciality cross between a scooter and a toboggan!), tandem skiing, mini-skidoo rides for children, and the local skill of reindeer-lassooing.
    • Refreshments are included too for those times when a few minutes warming up by a log fire is the perfect preparation for the next adventure.
    • Finally, it’s back ‘home’ to your cosy cabin or welcoming hotel, and if you have booked our great value half-board option, on to our Esprit-exclusive Lapland Dinner and Elf Show, to round off your break in style!
    • Fun-time again, with the chance to thrill to one of our wide range of exciting Optional Adventures, such as a snowmobile safari, tobogganing or snowshoeing.
    • Alternatively, you may wish to use this morning to do a little Christmas shopping in Rovaniemi’s attractive range of clothes, craft and gift shops and take a taste of Lapland home with you.
    • We will collect you from your accommodation by coach for the short transfer back to the airport for your flight home, and the chance for sleepy children to dream of Santa!
