Snowmobile Safari »
An unforgettable adventure, zooming through snowfields, woodland and across frozen lakes, finishing around a camp-fire for a warming mug of hot berry juice.
Family Safari (approx 1 hour) with two adults per snowmobile, and children in a special sled pulled behind the guide’s snowmobile.

Tobogganing »
My toboggans are available in Saariselkä on free loan from outside of your hotel or cabin. There is also a lovely long purpose-built toboggan-run, as well as public areas used by younger children.
Rudolph’s Reindeer Run »
Snuggle under blankets as my reindeer pull your sleigh through Lapland’s winter wonderland scenery. This quiet and magical ride lasts half an and is ideal for families or as a romantic sleigh ride for two. It is a perfect way of seeing my homeland in its natural beauty, covered in deep pristine snow.

Northern Lights Adventure »
Due to a special combination of circumstances, the Northern Lights have been shining at their brightest levels seen for 50 years and this was predicted by my expert friends at NASA!
For those of us that witnessed these amazing natural phenomena known as the Aurora Borealis, they are special moments.
So why don’t you go in search of the Northern Lights this Christmas and take one of my early evening snowmobile expeditions?
This Family Safari (approx 1 ½ hours) includes a camp-fire break for a warming drink in a quiet uninhabited location, ideal for viewing the skies above whilst your guide explains the magnificence of this natural light display.
Two adults share a snowmobile whist children travel in a special sled pulled behind the guide’s snowmobile.

If my included husky sled-ride whets your appetite, this one-hour trip gives you longer to thrill to ‘driving’ your own team of huskies through the pristine landscape.

Dates and times
My helpers will not normally pre-arrange any Optional Lapland Adventures for your arrival afternoon or evening, in order to allow you time to settle in, get your bearings and perhaps go tobogganing or explore the resort together, but on subsequent days there is time to enjoy extra activities, as per the guidelines shown to the right.
Santa’s Magic 3-day breaks: The Northern Lights Adventure usually takes place on the second evening, and on your final morning you could enjoy one of the other adventures shown on these pages (except downhill skiing).
Santa’s Spectacular 4-day breaks: There is ample time on the ‘Adventure Day’ for an optional extra adventure both morning and afternoon, and another if you wish on the morning of your last day. The Northern Lights Adventure usually takes place on the evening of your ‘Adventure Day’.
All prices and durations shown include transport to and from wherever you are staying (except downhill skiing). All details regarding exact timings will be confirmed to you on arrival in your resort.
