What the papers say about my Holidays

Every year I invite a selection of journalists to visit me in my Lapland home, so they can pass on the good news about these magical holidays of mine! Here you can read for yourselves what they said.

Sunday Mirror

“By now we are breathless with excitement, let alone our five year old, William. Elves playfully chuck snow balls at us and jump around but we can’t take our eyes off the door slowly opening to let us in. We peak one by one round the corner. Ahhhhhhhh… There he is. So he IS real. What’s more, magically the letter William had so carefully scrawled with his wish-list ten days earlier, is in Santa’s hand.”
Tina Weaver, writing in The Sunday Mirror

Sunday Express

“As we stepped into the warm of Santa’s traditional Finnish living room, Charlotte clung to me, unable to believe she was actually there. Then her jaw dropped as she spotted the letter in Santa’s hands. It was her letter, the one she had carefully crafted in our living room and placed in the post box at the end of our road. Now Santa was holding it and Charlotte’s face beamed with absolute joy as they spoke in hushed tones about what she had written. Nearly a year on and Charlotte still insists that the day she met Santa was the best day of her life.”
Helen Carter, writing in The Sunday Express

The Sun

“As far as the kids were concerned you couldn’t beat being pulled in a sleigh by a reindeer, riding a mini-skidoo and being dragged at breakneck speed around the forest on a sledge by six friendly huskies.”
Simon Copeland, writing in The Sun

The Sunday Telegraph

“The look of astonishment on the face of my daughter when we walked into the traditional wooden chalet where Father Christmas was handing out toys, was priceless. It was also the highpoint of a day packed full of guided activities, all reassuringly non-Disneyesque – even Father Christmas’s chalet was decorated Lapland-style. The whole time in Lapland was one I will always treasure – and I know the children will too.”

Top Tips from the National Press

Last year two top national newspapers, The Times and The Mail on Sunday, printed advice features about travelling to see me in Lapland and how to choose the right holiday package. See what they said below – with my own personal views on each point!

Advice from

“Will you get a private audience with the big man in red himself?”
Santa says… With my own magical trips in this brochure, of course this is absolutely guaranteed for you and your family. Page 8 has all the details.

“Analyse carefully what is in your package.”
Santa says… A very good point! There are several places in my brochure that highlight exactly what’s included in all my holidays. Check out pages 4-5, and 16-19 for details!

“Check what activities are covered in the package price.”
Santa says… I’ve heard about some other trips that muddle what activities are or are not included. On my own trips here, this is crystal clear. Check out pages 16-19 for all the details.

Advice from

“Do your research and check what is included in the price, along with the itinerary.”
Santa says… Again, this is sound advice indeed! My special Santa’s Magic and Santa’s Spectacular itineraries are shown in full on pages 16-19, where you can clearly see everything that is included in my holiday prices.

“Not all companies provide a private meeting with Santa, so check this.”
Santa says… I don’t want to sound conceited, but there really is no point coming all this way and then not meeting me properly as a family! So rest assured, this is an absolutely guaranteed highlight of all my own trips!
