Meet Santa's elves in Lapland

Every Christmas, Santa’s elves work hard to make magic happen. You’ll find them in the snowy forests of Lapland, busy in the workshop, looking after the reindeer, or sneaking off for a quick snowball fight.
The elves are clever, kind, and just a little bit naughty.
Best of all, they love meeting new visitors, especially those who believe in the magic of Christmas.
Read on to learn all about Santa’s wonderful helpers.
Discover what jobs they do, the secret language they speak, and how their mischievous side keeps Lapland full of laughter and Christmas cheer.
Busy little helpers

Every elf in Lapland has a special role to play in getting ready for Christmas. Inside Santa’s workshop, some elves build and paint toys for children all over the world.
Others are quick and careful, wrapping every present with shiny paper, colourful ribbons, and a little extra sparkle.
Although one year, they accidentally mixed up the Naughty and Nice lists. Santa was not best pleased about that one.
They have a special language

Now here is something you might not know. The elves have their own language.
It is called Elvish, and it sounds like cheerful gibberish full of giggles, squeaks, and nonsense that only they seem to understand.
You might hear them chattering away when you visit Lapland, but do not worry if it makes no sense at all.
Even Santa admits he sometimes loses track of what they are saying.
Would you give it a try?
The elves will be thrilled if you do. You might even earn a giggle or a round of applause for saying something almost right.
Just do not be surprised if they secretly rename you “Flibber Floop.”
Snow much mischief

Elves are known for their good hearts, but they do have a mischievous streak. They love swapping hats, hiding tools, and sneaking snowballs when no one is looking.
Visitors have been known to find themselves caught in the middle of an unexpected snowball battle.
The elves always claim, “It was not me!” but the cheeky grins give them away every time.
Elves just want to have fun

No one in Lapland loves fun quite like the elves. It is their favourite thing, right after hot berry juice and snowball fights.
In fact, an elf without fun is about as rare as a snowflake that never melts.
That is why you will never find a grumpy elf in Lapland. They simply do not exist.
If you ever hear laughter echoing through the forest, it is probably a group of elves, telling jokes, making snow angels, or trying to see who can balance the most baubles on their head.
They can't wait to meet you

When you visit Santa’s Lapland, you can meet these wonderful elves for yourself. They will welcome you with big smiles, speak some words of Elvish, and maybe even challenge you to a snowball fight.
They are full of fun, laughter, and festive mischief, and they cannot wait to share the magic of Christmas with you.
Because here in Santa's Lapland, when the elves are around, there is never a dull (or quiet) moment.
