Tobogganing is one of the most popular winter activities for families, and Lapland is home to the longest toboggan run in Finland – an exhilarating 1km descent! Starting from the top of the fell, this thrilling ride promises plenty of fun as you race down the snowy slopes.
It's child-friendly, free to use and lots of fun for the whole family. Plastic toboggans can be picked up from your hotel (there may be up to a $2 charge to use these) and used wherever you’d like, but the dedicated toboggan run is a must-do in your spare time.
Walking on snowy paths and through the wilderness of Lapland is always a magical experience. Whether you want to walk or cross-country ski, there are plenty of opportunities in Lapland.
